John A. Garcia, MD – Orthopaedic Surgeon

Dr. Garcia attended University of Texas Southwestern at Dallas where he received his Doctor of Medicine Degree in 1998. He then completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri in 2003. In 2005 he became certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Garcia practiced as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in St. Louis, Missouri from 2003 to 2007, then moved to Florida where he practiced at the Advanced Sportsmedicine Center until mid-2008. Los Alamos was then very fortunate to have Dr. Garcia come to Los Alamos to begin practicing Orthopaedics in October, 2008. His surgical experience is unsurpassed in northern New Mexico and therefore, his patients are reporting great results and quick recovery times.
