Jan Merin, MD, MPH – Hematology/Oncology

Dr. Jan Merin completed her medical oncology fellowship at the University of New Mexico where she also did her residency in Internal Medicine. She holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center, where she earned her MD.

Dr. Merin comes to Northern New Mexico Cancer Care from Albuquerque where she accumulated extensive experience in the practice of oncology and hematology at the prestigious New Mexico Cancer Center. She is a Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology and her oncology fellowship provided outstanding hematology training as well.

Peter J. Lindberg, MD – Hematology/Oncology

Peter Lindberg, MD, attended Augustana College and graduated from the University of Chicago Medical School, where he completed his Internal Medicine & Hematology fellowship at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Hospital. Dr. Lindberg began his Los Alamos practice in 1972. Since September 2007, he has focused his attentions on the treatment of prostate cancer here in Northern New Mexico.
